School Counseling

The Norcliffe Foundation School Counseling Center is located in Room 113.

School Counselors will meet with students throughout the year, individually, in small groups, and in classrooms.

9th Grade Students will meet individually with their School Counselor in the fall to discuss the transition to high school, student engagement on campus, and any academic concerns. By midyear, School Counselors will start the conversation about college preparation, including GPA and extracurricular involvement. School Counselors will meet individually with all freshmen to forecast their classes for their sophomore year.

10th Grade As students move into Sophomore year, School Counselors will continue to be available to students for academic check ins, executive function support, and social emotional wellness. School Counselors will meet individually with all sophomores to forecast their classes for their junior year. They will continue to work closely with the College Counselors as students are introduced to Maia and begin to build out their resume and explore their interests.

11th & 12 Grade Throughout the last two years on campus, School Counselors will continue to meet with students both individually and in classroom and large group settings. These meetings will include things such as needs assessments, healthy relationship presentations, and both academic and personal social check-ins.
