At Bishop Blanchet, our drama department is a welcoming and inclusive community where every voice is valued and every story matters. Whether students dream of a future in theatre or are simply exploring something new, we believe that the process of making theatre cultivates creativity, empathy, and enthusiasm in young people. Our program offers a supportive space where students are encouraged to take risks, make bold choices, and grow both as artists and individuals. Guided by our motto, "Full Out!," we strive to create meaningful theatrical experiences that inspire both performers and audiences alike by leading with passion, integrity, and unbridled joy—bringing our whole selves to every moment on and off the stage.

The drama department offers comprehensive acting and musical theatre classes, three classes in theatre design, and a three-show season: a fall play, a student-directed one-act festival, and a spring musical.

Students can participate in the performances both on stage acting and behind the scenes with one of our five crews: Stage Crew, Costume Crew, Hair and Makeup Crew, Publicity Crew, and Stage Management.
