About our Program
The focus of Bears Lacrosse is to provide a positive experience (not just winning) for each student athlete in the program. The emphasis is solidly placed on commitment and accountability. The program, and coaches, hold a responsibility to help teach players the value of hard work, quality decision-making, and follow-through.
All players, regardless of experience, are welcome to play and encouraged to come try the oldest sport in North America. We field a Varsity and JV team, with the Varsity team playing roughly 16 games and JV playing 10 games during the season. The season runs from the end of February until Memorial Day, with playoffs beginning the second week of May.

Congratulations to Varsity Boys Lacrosse Coach Dejon Hush, who was recently named a "Hero of the Deep" by the Seattle Kraken! The award honors his commitment to growing the sport of lacrosse, with a particular emphasis on improving diversity and inclusion in the sport.
Heroes of the Deep was established in the 2022-23 season by the Kraken's One Roof Foundation. Since the program launched, more than 80 heroes have been honored and $2.7 million has been awarded to nonprofit organizations. Congratulations to Coach Hush for this very well-deserved honor!
